For 30 years I was a newborn ICU pharmacist helping babies by day and a mom helping my kids by night. I loved every moment. Once the kids were grown and I retired, I rekindled my creative side. The Grim Reader: A Pharmacist’s Guide to Putting Your Characters in Peril (published Jan 2024), brought together my love for helping others, my knowledge of drugs, and the world of writing. Now that The Grim Reader is published, when I’m not training for my next triathlon, I’m developing a fantasy, mixing demons, dragons, and betrayal with a dash of hope. On the weekends, I enjoy volunteering, baking my family’s traditional Scottish shortbread, and spoiling my dog.
