A Little About Me

For 30 years I was a newborn ICU pharmacist helping babies by day and a mom helping my kids by night. I loved every moment. Once the kids were grown and I retired, I rekindled my creative side. Currently, I spend a lot of time (maybe too much) at coffee shops polishing my handbook for authors on how to realistically write drug scenes that put characters in peril. As an avid triathlete, I also spend long training rides developing my newest gritty YA fantasy, mixing demons, dragons, and betrayal. On the weekends, I enjoy volunteering, baking my family’s traditional Scottish shortbread, and spoiling my dog.
